The opening theme of Game of Thrones, composed by Ramin Djawadi, is one of those tunes that stick in your head. I recorded and edited this electric guitar version late into the night, while waiting for the new season. My advice still stands: turn the volume way up!
Download the tab and backing track
The download folder has three files: the tab in PDF, the same tab in Guitar Pro (.gp5) and a backing track in triple time at 200 BPM, for you to play over.

Don’t have Guitar Pro? The .gp5 file also opens in free programs such as MuseScore and TuxGuitar.
Practice tip
200 BPM is fast. Start with the Guitar Pro file at half speed (the program lets you slow down without changing the pitch) and work your way up. Once the riff comes out clean, move on to the backing track.
